Product documentation

See every application. Understand every access path.

Caspian gives IT and security teams one place to discover workplace software, understand who can access it, and make documented governance decisions.

Get started

  1. 1

Use the work account invited to your organization’s Caspian workspace.

  2. 2

    Connect sources

Connect your identity platform and the data sources your team has approved.

  3. 3

    Review the inventory

Confirm application identity, ownership, users, and the source of each observation.

  4. 4

    Make decisions

Approve, block, assign, or investigate applications and track the reason for each decision.

Core workflows

Discover applications

Connect an identity provider and deploy Caspian’s browser or endpoint collector where appropriate. Caspian combines those signals into one application inventory while keeping the original evidence attached.

Understand access

Open an application to review the people, accounts, permissions, and observed activity linked to it. Use the Users & Access view for organization-wide access questions.

Govern applications

Mark applications as trusted or blocked, assign owners, and document decisions. Caspian keeps the decision and the evidence that supported it together.

Run security policies

Apply outcome-based policies to connected applications. Each result explains what was checked, the evidence Caspian could observe, and what still needs a person to review.

Evidence and limits

Caspian distinguishes observed facts from recommendations. A missing signal is shown as not observed; it is not guessed. Decisions that require business context or approval remain with your team.
